Banshee S03 Available In April 2016
The third chillingly exciting season of Primetime Emmy® Award-winning series BANSHEE comes out April 13 on DVD. The series of Alan Ball, known for hit series True Blood, stars Lucas Hood (Antony Starr: Outrageous Fortune, Rush) who is an ex-con who spent the past 15 years of his life in jail for stealing diamonds from a mob moss named Rabbit. To hide from Rabbit following his release, Lucas settles in the small Amish community of Banshee in Pennsylvania. In order to blend into Banshee, Lucas impersonates the dead local sheriff and brings a unique style of justice to the town. Despite his new role as sheriff, Lucas keeps his ties to his criminal past and desperately attempts to rekindle a dead romance with his former girlfriend that happens to be Rabbit’s daughter.
In the third season of Banshee the plot thickens and tensions shift, and thus the risk that Lucas will finally unmasked. Get ready for ten brand new episodes Banshee and let yourself be carried away by the strong cast and intriguing storylines.

Banshee – Season 3 synopsis:
Season three takes place one month after the final episode of season two in which the father of Carrie (Ivana Milicevic, Vanilla Sky) dies after a brutal firefight.
After Carrie’s involvement was revealed and she leaves her husband and children, she works as a waitress by day, but she still secretly helps Lucas, Sugar Bates (Frankie Faison, The Wire) and Job (Hoon Lee: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) with all sorts obscure jobs.
Lucas finds it increasingly difficult to keep his true identity a secret to his colleagues and Siobhan Kelly (Trieste Kelly Dunn: United 93), in particular, for whom he has warm feelings. Meanwhile, Lucas and the police get involved in a new conflict between the Amish gangster Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen; Festen) and Chayton Littlestone (Geno Segers, Bone Tomahawk), the vengeful leader of the Redbone wing of the Kinaho strain.
And between bullets firing and hand fights Lucas is cooking up a new plan to rob an old naval storage base, where millions of dollars lie stored.
