Belzebubs: Heavy Metal Satire Comic Now Coming to Screens
According to creator JP Ahonen, his webcomic (also published by Top Shelf worldwide distribution) BELZEBUBS will be coming to the realm of Animation, with English voicing and confirmation on airing currently slated for Finland and Catalonia, with Iceland and Czechia most likely following.
Belzebubs is said to have begun as “an improvised therapy project and a humble webcomic” and developed into a cross-media adventure with a second album “Damnatio Memoriae” coming out next year.
“Belzebubs is a “trve kvlt mockumentary” focusing on the everyday challenges of family life: raising kids, running a small business, and making time for worship. Except the kids are named Lilith and Leviathan, the business is a black-metal band, and the worship… isn’t exactly aimed upstairs.“
