Comic Con Amsterdam Featuring Carice van Houten and Pamela Anderson

Following the announcements of international superstars Pamela Anderson, Michael Madsen and John Rhys-Davies, the organization of Comic Con Amsterdam proudly announces the arrival of a major Dutch actress. Carice van Houten will be present on the RAI on Saturday, September 2nd.

Carice Van Houten is known worldwide for her role as Melisandre in the TV series Game of Thrones. In addition, she has played various roles in international cinema films such as The Fifth Estate, Valkyrie and Race. Recently she played an important role in Western Brimstone by director Marin Koolhoven. Other big movies on her resume are Everything is love, Everything is family, Jackie, The happy housewife, Coming to a doctor at the doctor and the impressive WW2-story Black Book. During the pop culture convention Comic Con Amsterdam, visitors can get a picture and / or a signature with Van Houten.

During Comic Con Amsterdam, visitors can meet their favorite Hollywood actors and actresses at Meet & greets and photo shoots, score signatures of the stars present, there are panels and Q & A’s, workshops, demonstrations and art can be commissioned by various comic book artists . In addition, there are several cosplay activities at the special cosplay stage, such as workshops, competitions, lectures and demonstrations. Attention is also paid to anime and manga with workshops, lectures, merchandise and demonstrations. That one limited edition figurine can be scored on the generous merchandise floor, where several merchants offer their products. In short, the ideal weekend for both hardcore fans, pop culture enthusiasts and movie lovers, TV-series and comics.

Tickets

Visitors can choose from a day ticket (from € 15, -) or a weekend card (from € 27,50, -). Children under 6 years old are allowed to enter an adult free of charge.
