GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY FCBD 2014

Marvel Comics is giving fans a 3-way surprise with GOTG as well as THANOS and an introduction into the biggest Spider-saga since the Clone Saga (I think), named SPIDER-VERSE.

GOTG delivers a perfect introductory issue for the GOTG and all the characters involved as well as the introduction of a new member to the GOTG-team, which came as a total surprise! Introducing all these characters made me think about the trailer to the new GOTG-movie and the honest yet silly humour is also very available.

The writing by Bendis is as solid and entertaining as always and the art by Nick Bradshaw is detailed and strong! GOTG is set up as the next big thing, and believe me as I see that it is a HUGE thing!

THANOS introduces a hallucinatory tale for Drax as he is travelling between planes, in search of… answers I guess. Thanos is always looking for answers, so it seems. Jim Starlin returns for a strong new tale in THANOS: THE INFINITY REVELATION.

SPIDER-VERSE is the huge Spider-fest crossover in which Morlun returns to suck the life out of our favorite Arachnoid… in every alternative universe even! First on his list is the Neil Gaiman 1602 version as an appetizer of sorts!

EPIC #0 FCBD 2014

ComixTribe is offering a solid #0 origin issue of EPIC, a teen completely powered up, yet when seeing gorgeous girls, his powers are flipped off by his young male hormones. The idea alone is brilliant as this opens up a hilarious amount of situations! Respect to ComixTribe!

BONGO COMICS FREE-FOR-ALL FCBD 2014

Bongo Comics is telling the tale of how Bart Simpson is trying to get his friend Houten to develop superpowers, via insects, electrocution and radioactive radiation. But it is up to Homer to explain that every kid already has superpowers!

Next up is a walk through Mr. Burns catacombs to get a behind-the-scene look at what Smithers’ boss is capable off! Which is a LOT!

The 3d big story is about Dr. Frink whisking away Bart into a parallel dimension and having a Dr. Strange influenced story, which is as lovely and crazy as all that comes from Bongo.

Bongo delivers a truly deserving rump with this FCBD-comic and each comic book fan will love it! If they can stomach Simpson-fun that is!

VALIANT UNIVERSE HANDBOOK #1 FCBD 2014

Valiant is becoming (or already is!!) a big player in the comic book market today. In record time Valiant has resurfaced, re-branding their original characters with a massive infusion of new creative talent, making the Valiant Universe the next big thing!

With this handbook you will have a hefty textual introduction into every major character in this new exciting universe, as well as listing the crucial collections per character!

HATTER M: FAR FROM WONDER VOLUME 1 FCBD 2014

This re-issue of the Hatter M saga as told in the graphic novel arc of the Looking Glass Wars, is marking Automatic Pictures Entertainment as a ravenous new player. Having master-artist Ben Templesmith to produce the art for this series is nothing short of amazing as you get not only a perfect introduction of the Hatter M, but also making sure that fans are introduced to the style of Templesmith which is as different from any series of Marvel you can think of. And that diversity in comics is what makes the business so strong and interesting.

Back to Hatter Madigan who is a dimension-hopping persona, in search of Alyss, Wonderland’s lost princess. In this issue we see Madigan not as a Mad Hatter but as a determined bodyguard, in dire need of his lost Amazing Powerful Hat.

Automatic makes a strong FCBD offering!

ÜBER FCBD 2014

Avatar is introducing Kieron Gillen’s ÜBER to the comic community and is doing it in prose. A full fledged interview with the spy-scientist who gave the Allied Forces a change of fighting back to the Axis’ superpowered forces, as chronicled in the Gillen-series #1-12. A complete recap in what has happened and transpired, but without much of the gore this series has to offer visually. So Avatar took care of the public who are unaware of the impact this series might have on unaware comic fans! Respect to that!

I urge comic readers to check out this new brilliant series, though IFFF you can stomach violence and gore, that is!

RISE OF THE MAGI #0 FCBD 2014

Top Cow is offering a complete introductory issue for a new ongoing series. A story about magic and a new re-telling of what magic might be. In this Top Cow world a darkness is entering and corrupting the good that is possessed by the innocent. Innocence is found in the teenager wanna-be spellcaster Asa.

When first browsing this book I was disappointed with the artwork, but during the turning of pages the cartoony non-Silvestri art grows on you and the dark cliffhanger is balanced perfectly by the art-team.

I gather it was a HUGE leap-of-faith to have a Silvestri-cover and a totally different art-style underneath, but the gamble paid off.

This is one exciting new start of a series and FCBD has a new GOTTOHAVEIT in their hands.

BLEEDING COOL MAGAZINE FCBD 2014

The start of something great, as Bleeding Cool makes reading ABOUT comics and comic book movies just plain fun! The tendency is to have a positive look at what is coming out and I applaud that sentiment. We need more positive vibes and less narrow-minded critiques, y’all!!
Let Rich Johnston tell you how to turn someone into a lifelong comic book fan. Check out Kaboom. Stop doubting The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie! Check out V-Wars from IDW. And is there a FCBD for movies and if not, why not?

Bleeding Cool Magazine gives you a fun-filled article-fest!

ROCKET RACCOON FCBD 2014

Rocket Raccoon is off-the-charts in this oneshot that Marvel is offering this FCBD, trying to rescue a Princess and wreaking havoc while doing so. The action is filled with high-octane dynamite and it also has Groot, and we all love Groot!

I have no idea if this comic supports a digital-only release or the start of a new series (although this clearly is a oneshot issue) but Marvel made sure this is a not only a commercial endeavour but a fun read at that!

SCRATCH 9 / Run & Amuk Flipbook FCBD 2014

Hermes Press is offering a flip-comic with animals in the lead. No ordinary animals as the cat and ist owner battle the forces of bad robotics and in Run&Amuk a superpowered critter saves a family from a very bad super-cow.

This all sounds too silly to be true even for a comic, but Rob Worley makes all characters entertaining yet up-to-date, with snazzy dialogue and non-Disney story lines. This is something both parents AND their kids will enjoy to the fullest.

SHOWA: HISTORY OF JAPAN FCBD 2014

Drawn & Quarterly reprints a story in Black&White about the drafting of Japanese soldiers in WWII, in a fashion that is both cartoony as well as educational, but truth be told I have lots of trouble actually getting into the story. Not (only) because it reads in Japanese traditional manner, reading the panels and pages back to front, but also because I have trouble deciding whether this is all-out cartoon (with a sense of humor I cannot relate to) or the historical entries are worth reading or are even true!

THE INTRINSIC FCBD 2014

Arcana is developing its superteam ‘Intrinsic’ into a visual animated treat, as the strange group of anti-heroes live together, train together and fight together. This FCBD #0 edition shows a new great starting-point, introductions per character as well as an interesting story to boot. It serves perfectly as the introduction to Arcana and will spark readers to get into Arcana as soon as they can.

MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS FCBD 2014

ok… not sure what to say about this. If you know the show then that is exactly what you will get.
First every member gets a full-page introduction on their personality, powers and interests as well as their efforts to being a rolemodel for everyone.
After this a comic-story about the Ranger’s car, becoming evil and attacking them.

If you like the show, you will love this comic.

THE SMURFS FCBD 2014

Gargamel wants the Smurfs, so he has another plan to try and capture them, by turning the Smurfette into a frog. But Gargamel always finds the right comic relief angle and manages to screw up his masterplan all on his own. Smurfette and all Smurfs come out triumphant and the readers -young and old(er)- will have had a blast.

RED GIANT OFFERS 4 comics on FCBD 2014

Red Giant will offer monthly 4 comics with 8 stories, totally free and paid for by advertisement and the eventual TPB-collections. An interesting proposition and something that is completely out-of-the-box, especially if you read the four (!!!!!) offerings and discover the quality of both stories as well as artwork!

GIANT SIZE FANTASY collects ‘Pandora’s Blogs’ and ‘Duel Identity’.

Pandora is about a young girl, having fun, meeting friends, blogging about the odd sightings in her town. Art of lovely, story is sweet yet tragic, and especially in love with the the shadow-picture captions that make it extra fun to notice what Pandora is doing!

Duel Identity is about superhero Andromeda, who at night turns in a Batman-modus called Artemis, who is ready to go as far as killing the object of her assignment… that is, until she does not get the answers she is looking for and leaves the victim unscathed.

ID is a story that is nicely thought-out, with a lot more angles then can be hold in these few pages, but somehow it works and the dynamic tempo feels like it can run into a full-fledged story with ease!

GIANT SIZE THRILLS collects ‘Shadow Children’ and ‘Darchon’.

“Shadow Children” tells the haunting story about how children sometimes disappear into a different realm. The story follows two children growing up in that world and we notice there are very dark sides to this world as well as to the children and the grownups that made up the rules. The story is captivating and the art (Cucca!!) is something that makes you run back for more!

“Darchon” is story about a man that can see monsters. Those monsters never actually DO something, but they tell racy and obnoxious tales/remarks. The guy this story follows discovers that the comic character Darcheon battles those very monsters in many realms and does so with his team of superheroes… and he is befriended by Darcheon himself. That is the point this story flips and seems more like a psychological story about a schizophrenic man in dire need of help.
The art is strong and spooky and Bram Stoker Award winner Mort Castle, makes me wanna read more and see what is up with Darchon!

GIANT SIZE ACTION collects ‘Wayward Sons’ and ‘Tesla’.

“Tesla” tells the story about Tesla. For real!! Not kidding! This Tesla is still the inventor we all know (or not) and still eager to do something outrageous and thought-provoking with energy, but this time the maching he invented as well as Tesla himself were kidnapped and put on the Eifel Tower to mark a new revolution, but Tesla is saved by this savvy Mathilda. That interaction between Mathilda and Tesla might be the core of the book and this would please me for sure. Great dynamic between the two!

“Wayward Sons” speaks about two families coming together, supernatural abilities as well as a minotaur making a mess. As far as action goes: this has loads! The story itself is tougher to follow and needs more pages to really make a mark.

GIANT SIZE ADVENTURE collects ‘Magika’ and ‘The First Daughter’.

“Magika” is a story filled to the brim with great artwork, strange fairy-tale creatures and a quest to win the hand of a little sweet lady. Add to this a tad dark twist at the end and you will be interested to see more of this… and you can… MONTHLY… FOR FREE!!

“The First Daughter” tells about the US-president’s daughter Tasha Tasker, who is part of a special century-spanning team of superheroes (all First Daughters and Sons) who can put on a nano-robotic alien armor and fight off threats. But now that the threat is the most dangerous in history, Tasha will meet her brothers and sisters and in the upcoming FREE MONTHLY stories this threat will be handled.

Red Giant is baffling… to have FREE COMIC BOOK DAY in stores around the world every month with 4 flip-comics combining eight fantastic high-quality stories… it is madness, genius and true love all roled into one!

JELLABY FCBD 2014

Capstone introduces Jellaby where a kid finds a monster and makes friends with it. As heart-warming as Calvin&Hobs, I tell ya!

BUCK ROGERS FCBD 2014

When I first saw the TVseries of Buck Rogers, I immediately fell in love with the adventures of Buck. I loved every episode and discovering there were Golden Age comics from this character was thrilling. A swashbuckling pirate as there ever was one, but now with a nice scifi-setting. Hermes Press has done truly a thankful service introducing the various incarnations of Buck to the fans of comics!

OVERSTREET’S COMIC BOOK MARKETPLACE #4 FCBD 2014

And Overstreet shows us how a magazine should read, with features that include the origin of the Winter Soldier, a Batman article celebrating his 75th birthday not to mention celebrating 20 years worth of SHI, by Billy Tucci. This is how you want read up on comics, their backstories and their future!

TOP SHELF KIDS CLUB FCBD 2014

In which Top Shelf feels it appropriate to go all weird on kids, with lovely gruesome stories about monsters in villages and floating frogs. Top Shelf knows that there are kids who NEED more then the next Spongebob and another Power Ranger and this is the best comics have to offer in that respect. So jump in and introduce yourself to MADDY KETTLE as well as to MONSTER ON THE HILL.

KABOOM! SUMMER BLAST FCBD 2014

Kaboom will show you the what it can offer, from the amazingly popular Adventure Time (which I have yet to understand at all) to the instant-classic Herobear And The Kid to classics like Snoopy and tales of Garfield in a a new animated-style fashion and much more.
Kaboom can be read with joy and much fun, introducing fun stories, great stories, odd stories and off-beat art and all in-between!

SPONGEBOB FREESTYLE FUNNIES FCBD 2014

ooooo… wlll… what is there to say, but if you love the TV-cartoon then you will just LOVE these stories. And I think everyone who will read the story of how Bob and Patrick create comic books on their own.

SONIC COMIC ORIGINS AND MEGAMAN X FCBD 2014

Archiecomics/Capcon is telling a lot of origins in this book. MegamanX as the first AI-robot and the doctor to find him, including the coming of machines and badguys as well. Then SONIC ORIGINS will tell you about Sally as well as a recap of all that is happening in the Sonic-universe.
This is the perfect jumping in comic for those comic series!

UNCLE SCROOGE & DONALD DUCK FCBD 2014

Fantagraphics shows that Magica is still after the lucky dime Uncle Scrooge is holding dear and with a gravity-spell to boot this story is in for a treat. It is a GREAT story actually, and the storytelling is even following the gravity-defying adventures panelwise, making this one amazing treat.
And Fantagraphics does not stop as it tells the story about how Gladstone really got his amazing luck and just WHY his birthday is the only time his luck is turned inside-out.

MAGIC WIND FCBD 2014

If you combine the Wild West, great Italian artists as well as a supernatural monster-kinda streak, you get one interesting Shaman. Ned Ellis once caught a metal shard in his brain, leaving him with limited memories but with a great sense of premonition, visions and the uncanny ability to make sure the things that go bump in the night, will be punished for bumping in the night.
The combination of the classic Western tales and the macabre elements that make for chilling horror-stories is done beautifully in this extended preview of Epicenter Comics’ MAGIC WIND.

PROJECT BLACK SKY FCBD 2014

Dark Horse delivers a strong tale, of an old hero in the now-time teaming up with a braggy brain-reader to not only battle evil, but go further and notice that evil is closer then one might think. When Captain Midnight and Brain Boy discover that the superpowered gorilla Ape-X, is not the enemy they were led to believe, a new tale is spun and Dark Horse delivers a strong debuting issue to their new line of adventure comics, in which the old and the new, both in art, in style, in storytelling as in characters are crossing over into a new mix of fantasy!

HELP THE CBLDF DEFEND COMICS FCBD 2014

The offering of Comic Book Legal Defence Fund, is a firm overview in comic format, about the history of comics and mostly about the witch-trial on comics as a medium, the selfregulating yet explosive and unfair Comic Code and the eventual CBLDF that will help creators and other professional in dire need of good legal defense when being encountered with injustice.

Support the CBLDF whenever and where ever you can, readers!

HIP-HOP FAMILY TREE TWO-In-ONE FCBD 2014

The rise of Hip-Hop and even its apparent similarities are being discussed in this Fantagraphics offering. You will get a blast of the past and truly enjoy a trip down memory lane, with all the name-dropping and the way hip hop is born and cultivated!

SKYWARD MIDNIGHT TIGER FCBD 2014

Action Lab is ready to take on the world with some great offerings, which bring quality reading and all-ages together.
In SKYWARD we see how the diverse clans of Berserkers are now dead against Outsiders JUST as Quinn and his dog Jack are approaching their lands. In MIDNIGHT TIGER we see the origin of the Midnight Tiger that comes to be, as a young kiddo is not at peace with how things are in the world today and when he gets amped up on superpowers he is going to change the playing field… even if that means he is heading into a very steep learning curve!

Not only does Action Lab give the readers of FCBD 2 great stories, the ads on what they are offering in 2014 will make you drool for more as the collections of RUNNER and PLANET GIGANTIC and MISHKA and much more will win the heart of readers that will be daring enough to try something new, either for themselves, their kids or their nieces and nephews!!

SCAM #0: CROSSWORDS FCBD 2014

COmixtribe is set for the young adult scene, which delivers a tad more aggressive comics then Action Lab for instance but does so with a twist and intelligent writing which makes you eager to go into your comic store to get more!

CROSSWORDS tells about how bad rich people are struck down by Crosswords in ways you can applaud but also being appalled for. It will nevertheless make you feel good about yourself in having this comic in your collection, because although it is about doing bad things, it is with the right sets of morals, I guess. Not that it will actually turn people to actually live like Crosswords, but I am sure a lot of folks daydream about it, if they are honest!

HAMMERED covers a story of PINT who is an alcohol-driven superpowered work-for-hire. And that makes for really REALLY funny and over-the-top sensationalistic moments in this comic.

All I can say about this edition: go and buy more from Comixtribe!

ARMOR HUNTERS FCBD 2014

X-O Manowar has a special armour he has bonded with. And ever since he has, there have been people wanting that power for themselves. And this FCBD-offering now starts a new crossover about a group of baddies out to get that armour, any way they can!

RAI tells about the life 2000 years from now and how people live, fear, love and how they need RAI to make sure life can continue.

Valiant’s old heroes are told in new ways, drawn in new ways, making them more then they ever were in the 90’s and making this complete reboot worth your time and money!

FINDING GOSSAMYR / PAST THE LAST MOUNTAIN FCBD 2014

Th3rd World Studios presents to magnificent tales of fantasy. All-ages and with one tale drawn much like Frozen/Rapunzel from Disney would be in comics, about a young boy wanting to wield blades more then being a farmer. The other tale is about goblins and monsters, escaping their prison where they lived after they lost the war. The monsters set out to find something behind the last mountain… something that will question the reader who really are the monsters.

Another great offering for FCBD and Th3rd World Studios makes sure to showcase the best comics will have to offer.

WORLDS OF ASPEN FCBD 2014

This year Aspen introduces not one but two ISSUES ZERO issues, that lead into the ISSUE ONE of both series coming out later this year. This is a break of the norm for them as they usually have the FCBD-offering a sampler for multiple in-house series. Not this time though and BOY are you in for a treat!

DAMSELS IN EXCESS tells the story about 5 princesses who rule their parts of the world, and how they come together to dine and celebrate. Yet in another part of the country the reader will find out where all the prinses and kings went. This tale is troubling and spooky and Aspen makes sure that this will not be a children’s tale to tell!

ZOOHUNTERS introduces Minalara, who will hunt special alien specimen for her clients. But when she returns to the Live Cargo Holding, she takes pity on one specimen and takes it off the hands off its owner Quarec. Quarec being the slimy asshole even available in Alien cultures, turns it into a trade for a service and this will sure be making the first storyline of ZOOHUNTERS into an interesting venture.
Steigerwald’s artwork is like looking at Jae Lee’s art in SciFi setting and is something that made my eyes drool. The story is just as interesting as the artwork, so Aspen better sell a gazillion of this series!

AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER FCBD 2014

Dark Horse offers an ALL AGES book with a story about SOKKA and SUKKI set in the Avatar-univers, ITTY BITTY HELLBOY as well as JUICE SQUEEZERS.

Sokka and Sukki are into collecting shells and ultimately are all about the female power and empowering of females. A solid and moralistic story with enough laughs to keep it light.

Itty Hellboy plays a prank on the ghost of Rasputin and this is just a nice silly 2-pager.

In “Juice Squeezers” we see a bunch of bullied kids who are trying to get back at their bullies by getting massive amounts of ant-pheromons from a flat-sized queen ant. Why the kid is afraid of bullies and not of that huge ant, is beyond me though!

Dark Horse makes this FCBD-offering a solid one for all ages.

ZOMBIE TRAMP FCBD 2014

Action Lab has a more mature readers line called “Action Lab Danger Zone” and Dan Mendoza’s ZOMBIE TRAMP is sure to be more violent and gore then their other offering.
ZOMBIE TRAMP’s story is a solid introduction into how the richest call girl in Hollywood became the deadliest zombie to roam the world. Expect a lot of blood, huge boobs and yet still a moving story, which will beg your senses into buying her two TPB’s as well as get into that Volume Three asap!!

ENTROPY FCBD 2014

In the dark future the society has HAVES and HAVENOTS-people. The HAVES control everything and and have banned even every form of entertainment. And now we meet a HAVE and a HAVENOT teaming up on a mission. Although the HAVE is kinda abducted, he somehow follows the HAVENOT on her quest.

This story feels European in style and oozes Ladronn and Moebius (and more) in the art, which would be even more clear I think, if you get the new 4-issue Graphic Novel Series out this year! Please do!

STREET FIGHTER FCBD 2014

Udon/Capcom offer 3 stories, that somehow make the superficial characters of the game seem much more fun and intelligent then I thought would ever be possible. The story with CHUN LI is just mesmerizing, the one with JURI is powerfull and reminds most of a GI JOE comicbook and the story with AKUMA is violent yet holds an interesting story in an extra layer of cool story.

2000AD FCBD 2014

2000AD offers 48 pages of brain-scrubbing action, as they tell us themselves. And they are right! No less then 6 big stories combined with 3 very short stories make up for an early Xmas, I would say!

JUDGE DREDD stars in a story in which he saves a rookie remotely as well stars in Newspaper reprints. Dredd is one tough, self-righteous guy and the parody especially in the early works are so clear it would take a blind not to see. The serious tone of a more adapted character of the latter stories are just as fun though, but you do have to take the British sense of humor (dark… very dark at times) into account!

SLAINE is offering a glimpse of barbaric mayhem as only Slaine can bring to the plate.

ROGUE TROOPER is a GI out looking for a traitor.

JUDGE ANDERSON is part of the Psi-Division and encounters a golemn.

ABSALOM is an old cop, still able to complete singlehandedly take down a group of punks, despite him looking as a drunken Einstein.

DURHAM RED is a vampire-bountyhunter, which means she is vampire AND bountyhunter combined. SciFi-setting added and this is odd yet gorgeous to read!

2000AD let this one rip and it oozes with fun stories only 2000AD can provide!

HELLO KITTY AND FRIENDS FCBD 2014

well.. this is for 3-6 year olds and nothing much can be said really. The fact that VIZ MEDIA is printing this for FCBD to really try and win over the youngest is admirable, that is for sure! So WAY TO GO, Viz!!

THE TICK FCBD 2014

Offbeat, strange and entertaining to some. Others might just think this is like the father to Spongebob Squarepants!
A cult-classic made real again by NEW ENGLAND COMICS PRESS showcases this odd superhero, being all powerful and incredible and amazingly goofy!

GRIMM FAIRY TALES FCBD 2014

This special ZERO issue showcases the Blood Knights and there extreme power being put into practice. As horrifying as it is, we can be glad it will never come back again. Or will it!? The Dark Queen will let loose her Blood Knights in the new AGE OF DARKNESS crossover at Zenescope!

ALL YOU NEED IS KILL / TERRA FORMERS FCBD 2014

ALL YOU NEED IS KILL tells the story about young Rita, who saw her life being invaded by fierce aliens and who grew up battling them as fierce as she could manage!

TERRA FORMERS sees a party of spacemen arriving on a planet and discovering alien life.

Both stories showcase VIZ MEDIA’s current catalogue and really invites you to test-drive these works OR get ahead of the new Tom Cruise movie even, on which ALL YOU NEED IS KILL is based!

CBLDF RAISING A READER FCBD 2014

In this pamflet-booklet the Comic BooK Legal Defense Funds explains just how comics and graphic novels might actually be PERFECT to get kids to really love to read. In explaining what it might offer to kids, visually supporting a story but also explaining how to deal with panels and dialogue in comics the CBLDF showcases just how Graphic Novels could work very well in education!

This should be given to every teacher in every country!

SHERWOOD TEXAS FCBD 2014

12-Gauge Comics have managed to start up a retelling of Robin Hood, now set in biker-infested Texas. This FCBD-comic sets up the stage for the new mini-series, although I am unsure if it will feature zombies or voodoo or something akin, because the hero sure needs some magic, let me tell you that!

Also featering here is a nice story of BOONDOCK SAINTS and it reads like it comes straight out of the cult (you HAVE to see these movies, man!!!!) movies. Which is just groovy!!

ARCHIE DIGEST FCBD 2014

ARCHIE and friends are having a lot of fun in these stories that are short, sweet and fun. If you never read ARCHIE before this (almost) 100-page digest-mini-comic is perfect and reminds me (since I had no prior notion of this character) think of Dennis The Menace, Donald Duck and his friends… just fun little stories, really!

LES MISERABLES / PRIDE & PREJUDICE FCBD 2014

The classic stories of Victor Hugo and Jane Austen, but now with manga-art as its main attraction. This actually really works very well. I am still having some difficulties with the way you need to read Manga, but despite that you can really enjoy this new retelling a lot! UDON really had a great idea with this!

STEAM WARS FCBD 2014

A tribute or a parody to Star Wars. Perhaps even both! Add to this also the Steampunk-phenomana and mix it all up with much better writing, character development and storylines and this is actually one fun steampunk SciFi-story!

FUBAR ‘ACE OF SPADES’ FCBD 2014

FUBAR means “Fucked up beyond all recognition” and that is JUST what is happening with the militaries that are searching for Saddam in the first FUBAR-story and Osama Bin Laden in the second FUBAR-story. I am talking about zombies, gore, mayhem and guns blazing, here!

This FCBD-offering from FubarPress is really something I truly enjoyed! The way these brave men are forced to handle a new and unknown threath like this is actually inspiring!

ATOMIC ROBO FCBD 2014

Tesla invented a robot and Atomic Robo now leads investigative teams to save the world via fists and science. Read the story, enjoy the monsters that come out of hiding, see how young adolescent turn adventures into high-risk assignments and immerse yourself in this award-winning all-ages series!

Also have fun with BODIE TROLL who is just to cute to be a real troll although his nasty eating habits as well as his snappy remarks might impact you even more then you might have thought!

Also read a preview of HAUNTED #1, a new series from RED5COMICS, which art, lettering and story will blow you away!

About the Author
