Flesk Publications at Comic-Con

Flesk Publications will be exhibiting at Comic-Con International in San Diego this July 17-21. Our Flesk Publications / Spectrum Fantastic Art booth #5019 will be ripe with artist guests and new books. Brom, Mark Schultz and Jim Silke will be making appearances. We will also be premiering Mark Schultz: Carbon, the new printing of Xenozoic, plus The Art of Brom, the Wendy Pini: The Art of ElfQuest and Line of Beauty Teaser, and the Bruce Timm 2013 Teaser. Brom will be signing all five days at our booth. We will have his new The Art of Brom book (Flesk Exclusive Publisher Edition with bonus 16-pages and Deluxe Edition) and Brom Sketchbook (Another Flesk exclusive) at the show.

Terry Dodson

Terry Dodson will be premiering his Bombshells 7 collection at his booth #4706. This collection showcases his most recent commissions, preliminary work for personal projects and material from his private sketchbooks. You can pre-order it now on our website and we’ll ship them right after the show.

We put together a Wendy Pini Teaser providing a glimpse into the subject matter covered in the two new titles in development The Art of ElfQuest and Line of Beauty. This 2013 Teaser is limited to 1000 signed and numbered copies. We will premier it at our Flesk booth #5019 at Comic-Con and it is available exclusively from Flesk and from Richard and Wendy Pini at the show. You can also order it on our website. The Pini’s are Comic-Con special guests.

Mark Schultz

Mark’s new art book, Mark Schultz: Carbon and the new printing of the complete Xenozoic collection that collects all of the stories written and drawn by Mark to date, and a new print, “Beyond the Known Forest, She Talks with Birds” will debut at the show. We will also have an 8 x 10″ print that we will be giving away for free with any purchase at the Flesk booth, or $5.00 by itself. Mark will be with us all five days.

Jim Silke will be signing at our booth on Thursday morning until the early afternoon. Jim will have original artwork on hand. We will also have his two books Jungle Girls and Jim Silke Sketchbook.

Bruce Timm

Bruce Timm is a special guest at Comic-Con. We have a new Bruce Timm 2013 Teaser that will premiere at the show. It features all new B.T. art and comes signed, numbered and limited to 1000 copies. It will only be available direct from Flesk. You can find Timm at the NFR booth #4700 and the Teaser at the Flesk booth #5019.

John Fleskes will be on hand to represent Spectrum Fantastic Art, where he will answer questions regarding the transition of Spectrum, the Call for Entries, the jury process and how to submit your art for possible inclusion into Spectrum #21.
