Harpies Origins: Betty Has Launched

The latest Harpies story may be the best one yet.

It’s written by Joshua Metzger (Le Fay) with art by Richard Ortiz (DC Bombshells, Wonder Woman 77).

MI-5 rookie Betty faces Nazi saboteurs, subterranean monsters, and the world’s wickedest man himself, Aleister Crowley.

Betty Pendleton was living a care-free life as part of England’s upper class until the outbreak of WWII. To do her part, she joined the war effort, enlisting in British intelligence. She dreams of a life of adventure, but finds herself stuck behind a desk.

When she finally gets the opportunity to work in the field, she gets more than she bargained for. On her first mission, she finds herself at odds with an evil sorceress, Nazi saboteurs, subterranean monsters, and the world’s wickedest man himself, Aleister Crowley.

About the Author

Richard is the driving force behind Comics for Sinners. His love and admiration for female comic book characters is virtually unparalleled, which immediately explains his biggest 'sin': his Hot Mummy fetish. This sketchbook theme is philogynistic in nature and even the source of his WIP comic book series "The Sisterhood".
