James Bond meets Quantum Leap as HooligansCo presents: The Chronicles of FARO
This epic 100pg graphic novel will pull you into “The Circle”. Inspired by a real life love affair and deep decent into insanity, FARO is the quest for the ultimate trophy; to not only achieve time travel, but to crash a major moment in history without a care for the consequences.
Believing he could harness power directly from the Sun, Professor Francis Kane destroys his career at the National Academy of Science when he claims he will travel back in time to prevent one of the biggest tragedies in American history — The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Inorder to finance his expedition, Professor Kane cuts a deal with a criminal syndicate known as The Circle, an elite cult of thrill seekers who plan to use time travel to solidify their domination of the world.
Seduced by the lustful traps of Majesty, an Amazonian temptress who has perfected her sin since the inception of time, Professor Kane is renamed FARO and helps her build a profiteers’ paradise while the Civil War tears America apart. At the height of their love affair, Faro is recruited to join The Circle, where he will begin his destiny as an eternal warlord. For his initiation, his first mission is simple…..
Murder Abraham Lincoln before Gettysburg!
Faro is the manifestation of one man’s look back at his own insane life and dreams during a year of quarantine after a near fatal accident. Bored of biblical quests for ancient relics, “Doing this graphic novel allowed me to mix a bit of lust and seduction with fantasy and allowed me the freedom to create a story so out there, so over the top, it took 26 artists to tell it,” explained author Faro Kane. “This novel is part story and part showcase, covering an international variety of artists from different genres, styles and levels of commercial success.
The opening chapter of the FARO saga features the interior talents of Ale Garza (Deadpool, Teen Titans, Witchblade) Pat Broderick (Batman, Captain Marvel, Micronauts) Richard Clark (Dark Horse) and Paolo Pantalena (Top Cow, Aspen) all neatly wrapped in an unbelievable cover by Franchesco (DC, Zenescope)
