Mind-blowing SEX returns this April—and a graphic novel too
Image Comics is pleased to announce that the popular, provocative superhero series Sex by Joe Casey (Jesusfreak, MCMLXXV) and Piotr Kowalski has returned as an ongoing, original graphic novel series with Sex, Vol. 6: World Hunger hitting stores in trade paperback this April.
“It’s been a long time coming, but Kowalski and I are primed and pumped to return to the sordid world of Sex,” said Casey. “This volume definitely takes things to another level of salaciousness. And we’re just getting started taking this new format out for a spin.”
In this all-new Sex experience, readers will return to Saturn City and the continuing exploits of retired superhero and awkward civilian, Simon Cooke, as he attempts to uncover the illicit secrets of the so-called Illuminati that desperately wants to recruit him. Typically, this leaves his beloved city vulnerable to all manner of desperate depravity. Fans won’t realize how much they’ve missed Sex until they indulge in this latest adventure.
Sex, Vol. 6: World Hunger (Diamond Code FEB190105, ISBN: 978-1534308770) will be available on Wednesday, April 24. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, March 11. It will be available in bookstores on Tuesday, April 30 and can be pre-ordered now on Amazon, B&N, IndieBound, and Indigo. Fans can also subscribe to receive the series delivered by mail within the domestic U.S. on Image Direct.
Sex will also be available for purchase across many digital platforms, including the official Image Comics iOS app, Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play.
