Monte M. Moore to launch Blood N’ Bullets in April 2021
Attention everyone, the new project from the mind of Monte Moore and Maverick Arts is launching on Kickstarter on April 7th!
| The Blood N’ Bullets project has been ‘on the trail’ for quite a few years now, and it’s stage has finally come in! Monte started writing screenplays back in 2008 and had some immediate interest from Hollywood producers and one project was immediately put into production! Blood N’ Bullets aka BnB was the third screenplay that he wrote and was the second in the Supernatural Western genre but unlike his previous scripts which has more male dominated roles, Monte wanted the BnB story to focus on strong and charismatic female characters which were not often seen in so many of the Western stories of the past. Monte started with a new original character, “Bloody” Mary Masterson, a gun for hire with a deadly reputation and a quick temper to make her a force to be reckoned with. Mary is accompanied by her dog Hamlet and she’s known to quote Shakespeare to her faithful companion while out on the trail. Mary is a loner and doesn’t much care for towns, but she has come to town to visit her brother Holden who has recently remarried after his first wife died…but therein lies a serious problem….as Holden has married a Native American named Blackbird and neither Mary nor the rest of the town is too keen on Holden taking a squaw as a wife!Mary and Blackbird may have to learn to set their differences aside when all Hell Breaks Loose in this sleepy town when strangers from Europe arrive with a lust for blood and vengeance! BnB #1 is the first installment of a two part graphic novel written by Monte M Moore and brought to life by Silvano Beltramo of Italy drawing the interior of the book, and returning Loco Hero colorist Sean Callahan bringing the project into the world of color and Es Kay in Australia putting words to paper as the Letterer! During the Kickstarter campaign (and leading up to it) Monte will be appearing on a number of different podcasts in the NSC Road Show Podcast Tour to talk about the book and to show off some of the great art being created for it.
