Review: GRIMM FAIRY TALES: STEAMPUNK #1 (of 2)

GFTsteampunk1What a great story, and the idea is a fresh one, in this realm of comics.

I enjoyed seeing Robyn Hood , as a female bad girl, and Cinderella as a bad girl, Snow White as the bad Queen, a underworld lord/Lady who want’s the girls to work for/with her.

Steam punk is such a wonderful idea so many have used this in books; it’s kind of neat to see this in a comic so you can see all of the gears and things described by a book…

You see a assassin come into play who does not name her name, nor do the others, to put Van Helsing in a the “good” girl is a twist I did not think would be thrown at me. Saying the sheriff is a good guy, when was always the bad guy with Robyn Hood, in most aspects…

Bring forth the bad girls of Grim Fairy Tales, Cinderella, Callie, Alice in Wonderland, and then Snow White. What a great read. I have missed some of the stories in the past, but I sure hope to see more than just 2 issues of this story…
