Salute, to Serpieri’s Druuna

It was announced earlier that Serpieri was working on a very last album of the post-apocalyptic, erotic sf-series DRUUNA. That album has now been announced by the French publisher Glénat, with the translation of this fifth Italian part to be expected in quarter 2 of 2019.

The album fits in a bit with Serpieri’s original drawing career in the western genre, because the beautifully formed heroine encounters an Indian chief in a mysterious world. They both have to deal with a group of conquistadors. Druuna is between two fires, but how real is that world and why did it end up there?

The album will be enriched with a booklet of illustrations.

The post-apocalyptic, erotic sf-series DRUUNA has often been on the receiving end of a lot of praise due to the art. The critiques were focused on the lack of story or the fact that the flow of the story felt off, with it going all over the place.
