Scarlet Huntress Anthology Kickstarter Makes Final Push

scarleComic book artist Sean Forney has been working hard to get his Scarlet Huntress Anthology kickstarter to its goal of $7,500. With only days left to go the Kickstarter has surpassed the half way mark but still has about $2,500 left to raise before June 10th.

Scarlet Huntress was co-created by artist Sean Forney and Stephanie Forney in 2003 when she first appeared in a couple short stories and got her first issue, Scarlet Huntress #1, in 2006. After seeing great reviews and success with #1 the creators took their time developing the next phase of the story and published Scarlet Huntress #2 in 2011 along with ancillary books Scarlet’s Guide to Cryptids and a children’s book version Little Red Riding Hood: Origins of a Huntress soon after.

The new anthology is a collection of 3 stories, each of which have a very different theme and style because they’ve been written by 3 different writers (John Barker, Bryan (Stratos) K. Borgman, and Stephanie Forney. One story will take us on an international travel, one will take us into the RPG crossover with Kaiju Kaos and the Special Mission Force, and one will continue where issue #2 left off with Scarlet searching for answers to her mother’s murder.
