Scarlett Johansson Transforming Into The Major in GHOST IN THE SHELL

In the near future, Major (Scarlett Johansson), the first of its kind: saved from a terrible accident and transformed into the perfect cyber-soldier with a mission to stop the most dangerous criminals in the world. When terrorism reached a new level where people hacked and controlled, Major takes action to stop these practices.

When Major prepares to confront a new enemy, she discovers that she lied to her, she was not saved, they will be used. Nothing can stop her, she must know who has done this and her other spare her fate.

Ghost in the Shell will be released March 29, 2017.

GHOST IN THE SHELL follows a major ops female cyborg (Johansson), who leads a special unit called Section 9, along with Daisuke Aramaki (Kitano). Their mission is to protect the world from the greatest technological threats. They face a powerful enemy that aims to destroy Hanka Robotic’s advances in cyber technology.

The executive producers are Michael Costigan, Tetsu Fujimura and Mitsuhisa Ishikawa, the animation studios, Production I.G, produced both the Japanese film and television series “GHOST IN THE SHELL”.
