We follow the twenty-four-year-old Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist, The Longest Ride, Glee), who seems to lead a normal life at first glance, but comes from the planet ofKrypton. Kara has come to a point in her life that she needs to embrace her powers which she was forced to repress for years, to now save her city.

Synopsis Supergirl – Season 1:
At the age of twelve, Kara, Supergirl, escapes from the planet Krypton. On earth, she is received lovingly by the Danvers family, who take her in as part of the family. Kara grows up in the company of her foster sister, Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh, Taxi Brooklyn, Gray’s Anatomy) and keeps her powers hidden all the time. She is sure that the world does not need any other hero like her big nephew. At the age of twenty four, Kara lives in National City and works for media grate Cat Grant (Calista Flockheart, Ally McBeal, The Birdcage). Her help is invoked by Hank Henshaw (David Harewood; Homeland, Blood Diamond). He appears to be the topman of a super secret agency where her sister is also active. Henshaw needs both Alex and Kara to protect the city from dangerous threats. Kara is forced to expose her secret and decides to use her powers in the name of the city and its inhabitants.

There is no way back after that!!
