The Loved & Lost Anthology Finds Its Way on Kickstarter
Loved & Lost collects 9 stories about navigating the treacherous waters of modern romance where relationships rarely work out the way you expect.
The anthology is edited by the husband & wife team of Tyler & Wendy Chin-Tanner and published through their label, A Wave Blue World, which just last year ran the very successful Kickstarter campaign for the Broken Frontier Anthology.
The campaign for Loved & Lost launches on October 11 and lasts only 2 weeks because, like any bad relationship, why drag it out?

“The majority of the love stories we see are based on extremes,” says Wendy Chin-Tanner. “It’s always either idealized love or tragic heartbreak. But so much of life is what happens in between and there’s a lot of good material for stories there. These are the experiences that determine who we are and what matters to us.”
The cover art is by Robbi Rodriguez and all 9 stories are written by Tyler Chin-Tanner who worked with a different artist or art team for each one. These rising stars include:
Ryan Alexander-Tanner (To Teach)
James Boyle (Pathfinder: Hollow Mountain)
Mac Cooper (White Knuckle Birthday)
Jason Copland (Daredevil, Pop!)
Tadd Galusha (Godzilla)
Julia Krase (Loved & Lost debut)
Jeanette Langmead (I Made This To Impress A Boy)
Robert Ryan (Loved & Lost debut)
Ayşegül Sınav (Broken Frontier anthology)

“What I love about anthologies is the ability to pack so much great talent into one book,” added writer Tyler Chin-Tanner. “As much as I enjoyed bringing back some creators from the Broken Frontier Anthology like Robbi on the cover and Ayse & Tomi on one of the stories, I was also excited to work with some new talent. These artists have been doing incredible work for quite some time now, really unique stuff, and not enough people are seeing it. We’re going to open some eyes with this one.”
Other rewards from the campaign include a metallic print of the cover art, a bookplate signed by 12 of the creators and a limited edition mini-print set that pairs original images with lines from classic love poems.
Print artists include:
Toby Cypress (Omega Men)
Leila del Duca (Shutter, Scarlet Witch)
Sandra Lanz (Prophet, House Girls)
Fabian Lelay (Jade Street Protection Services)
Karl Slominski (Ashes, Run Like Hell)
Trungles (Fresh Romance)
