The Thrilling Sequel To Fearless Dawn’s Jurassic Jungle Boogie Nights Is Here
Good times for Steve Mannion’s 2nd Kickstarter comic project ~ Fearless Dawn: Hard Times!
Although Steve Mannion’s fighting mad bad girl falls on hard times in this latest installment of Fearless Dawn, the project itself is experiencing good times on Kickstarter reaching its goal within the first 24 hours of being launched as well as being selected as a “staff pick”!
The thrilling sequel to Fearless Dawn’s Jurassic Jungle Boogie Nights is here at last! Well, sorta. Steve Mannion has been drawing like crazy since wrapping up his 1st successful Kickstarter this past April in order to get the next installment out ASAP (Mannion feels badly leaving fans on a cliff-hanger ending with JJ Boogie Nights). Steve decided once again to enlist the help of his fans for the needed support and inspiration to push the project over the finish line. And the fans responded without hesitation! Backers will be helping Steve draw, print, and distribute another unique print on demand 32 page black and white KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE comic book and in return receive some exciting rewards in addition to the actual new book itself. Just like the last one, this version will only be available via the Kickstarter project.
Per Mannion, here’s the SYNOPSIS:
In an attempt to leverage some bargaining power, the evil HELGA VON KRAUSE kidnaps Fearless Dawn’s dog, Dogface. But the trick takes an unexpected turn. Fearless Dawn has become a menace to herself and others. In this installment, Steve Mannion’s indy creation explores a much more dramatic angle, dealing with themes of loss, morality, and perhaps even the very definition of what a hero is supposed to be.
Mannion adds, “Well our last Kickstarter was a great experience for us. It was a lot of work, but I felt it was worth it. Once again, I just want to listen to your suggestions, and respond as promptly as possible and have things run smoothly so I can get you all the best darn Fearless Dawn comic book that has come out to date! I am also drawing this book in a very meticulous inking style which may add a couple of weeks onto the release dates but it is coming out nicely and I don’t want to cut corners. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I am making it. And thanks in advance!”
