Vampirella’s Victory Rises for Trailer Debut
She first appeared in Christopher Priest’s ongoing critically acclaimed tenure in the Vampirella mythos, back in 2019 for the 50th anniversary of the franchise – but now VICTORY is breaking off on her own for her first ever solo series!
Eisner-winning writer David F. Walker (Bitter Root, Planet of the Apes, Naomi) is joined by artist Brett Weldele for an all-encompassing look at the character, diving into her never before revealed origins, and how she’s dealing with her newfound abilities and complex relationships in the present. The Dynamite team has whipped up a thrilling trailer for fans to get excited for the series launch later this month on June 21!
The trailer really highlights the gorgeous art of Weldele, as well as the varied subject matter for the series. Fans can tune in for raw character moments of tragic childhoods and struggles, as well as blistering action and car chases. The jaw-dropping covers by the likes of Ariel Diaz, Bryan Hitch, Dave Johnson, and Carla Cohen are spotlighted as well
